Current market environment performance of dynamic, risk-managed investment solutions.

U.S. equity markets posted losses in all three indexes last week. The S&P 500 decreased by 1.11%, the NASDAQ Composite decreased by 2.41%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.17%. Energy was the only one of the 11 sectors that was up last week, posting a 5.03% gain. Four of the 11 Quantified Funds were up last week: The Quantified Pattern Recognition Fund (QSPMX) gained 0.64%, the Quantified Evolution Plus Fund (QEVOX) was up 0.42%, the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund (QALTX) increased by 0.22%, the Quantified Managed Income Fund (QBDSX) rose 0.12%, the Quantified Tactical Fixed Income Fund (QFITX) decreased by 0.26%, the Quantified Government Income Tactical Fund (QGITX) was down 0.38%, the Quantified Common Ground Fund (QCGDX) went down 0.52%, the Quantified Rising Dividend Tactical Fund (QRDTX) lost 1.62%, the Quantified Market Leaders Fund (QMLFX) went down 1.94%, the Quantified Tactical Sectors Fund (QTSSX) was down 2.05%, and the Quantified STF Fund (QSTFX) lost 2.21%.

The Market Environment Indicator (MEI) was bullish Friday morning last week. Equity asset-class allocations in the Quantified Market Leaders Fund were the following: Large-Cap Value (7.57%), Emerging Markets (22.70%), Mid-Cap Value (15.13%), and World Stock (30.26%). Total sector ETF weightings were at 75.66%, holding exposures to Technology, Materials, and S&P 500.

The cash level within the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund increased by 3.28% last week (24.20%). The largest allocation increase and decrease, respectively, within the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund (QALTX) last week were the following: Allocation to the First Trust Utilities AlphaDEX Fund (FXU, 3.64%) increased by 1.29%, while allocation to the SPDR S&P North American Natural Resources ETF (NANR, 1.86%) decreased by 1.11%. Last week, the funds were down 1.22% and up 1.53%, respectively.

The capital allocation of the volatility-based systematic trading of NASDAQ 100 Index futures started the week with a 1% net short exposure. On Thursday, the position moved to a 2% net short exposure.

The capital allocation to 30-year U.S. Treasury bond futures in the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund started the week with a 10% net short exposure. On Wednesday, the position changed to a 12% net long exposure.

The QFC Self-adjusting Trend Following strategy's signal of exposure in the NASDAQ 100 Index (NDX) held a 100% net long exposure throughout the week. The Quantified STF Fund (QSTFX) was down 2.21% for the week, compared to a loss of 2.13% for the NASDAQ 100 Index (NDX) and a loss of 2.11% for the Rydex Series NASDAQ 100 Fund (RYHOX), a current potential holding of the STF strategy.

The Quantified Managed Income Fund's (QBDSX) largest ETF allocations were the PIMCO 0-5 Year High Yield Corporate Bond Index Exchange-Traded Fund (HYS, 6.81%), the Alerian MLP ETF (AMLP, 6.80%), the Invesco Senior Loan ETF (BKLN, 6.80%), and the ProShares Short 20+ Year Treasury Fund (TBF, 6.80%). Last week, the securities were down 1.11%, up 1.08%, flat, and up 3.45%, respectively. The cash allocation was at 50%.

The 10-year U.S. Treasury closed the week up 6.04%. The capital allocation to 30-year U.S. Treasury bond futures in the Quantified Managed Income Fund started the week with a 15% net short exposure. On Wednesday, the position reallocated to an 18% net long exposure. The S&P 500 E-mini futures started the week with a 5.50% net short exposure. On Thursday, the position reallocated to a 5% net short exposure.

The Quantified Pattern Recognition Fund (QSPMX) started the week with an 80% net short exposure. On Monday, the position switched to a 70% net long exposure. On Tuesday, the position changed to a 60% net long exposure. On Thursday, the position moved to a 70% net long exposure. On Friday, the position changed to a 140% net long exposure.

The Quantified Tactical Fixed Income Fund (QFITX) started the week with a 55% net short exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds. On Wednesday, the position switched to a 33.80% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 30% net long exposure to high-yield bonds.

The Quantified Government Income Tactical Fund (QGITX) started the week with a 55% net short exposure to Treasurys. On Wednesday, the position switched to a 52% net long exposure to Treasurys.

The Quantified Evolution Plus Fund (QEVOX) had the following allocations at the end of last week: 52% in the U.S. dollar, 24% in gold, and 24% in cash.

The Quantified Common Ground Fund's (QCGDX) largest allocations were Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC, 8.08%) and Hexcel Corporation (HXL, 7.33%). Last week, the securities were up 7.27% and 0.06%, respectively. The cash allocation was at 4.45%.

The Quantified Tactical Sectors Fund (QTSSX) had the following allocations last Friday: the Materials Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLB, 78%), the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK, 39%), and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY, 39%).

The Quantified Rising Dividend Fund (QRDTX) was bullish at the end of last week.
