Current market environment performance of dynamic, risk-managed investment solutions.

U.S. equity markets posted gains in all three indexes last week. The S&P 500 gained 4.74%, the NASDAQ Composite went up 5.22%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 4.89%. All 11 sectors were up last week; Energy, which posted the best return, was up 8.08%. Six of the 11 Quantified Funds were up last week: The Quantified Pattern Recognition Fund (QSPMX) went up 2.85%, the Quantified Tactical Sectors Fund (QTSSX) went up 1.96%, the Quantified Common Ground Fund (QCGDX) increased by 1.69%, the Quantified Rising Dividend Tactical Fund (QRDTX) rose 0.90%, the Quantified Market Leaders Fund (QMLFX) rose 0.79%, the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund (QALTX) rose 0.44%, the Quantified Managed Income Fund (QBDSX) went down 0.94%, the Quantified Evolution Plus Fund (QEVOX) decreased by 1.71%, the Quantified Tactical Fixed Income Fund (QFITX) was down 5.21%, the Quantified Government Income Tactical Fund (QGITX) lost 5.32%, and the Quantified STF Fund (QSTFX) went down 5.56%.

The Market Environment Indicator (MEI) was bearish Friday morning last week. Equity asset-class allocations in the Quantified Market Leaders Fund were the following: Large-Cap Value (3.60%), Mid-Cap Value (1.80%), Small-Cap Growth (0.90%), and Small-Cap Value (2.70%). Total sector ETF weightings were at 19.50%, holding exposures to Energy, Financials, and Health Care.

The cash level within the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund increased by 4.29% last week (46.66%). The largest allocation increase and decrease, respectively, within the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund (QALTX) last week were the following: Allocation to the First Trust Global Tactical Commodity Strategy Fund (FTGC, 1.08%) increased by 1.08%, while allocation to the First Trust Alternative Absolute Return Strategy ETF (FAAR, 3%) decreased by 1.50%. Last week, the funds were down 0.27% and up 0.22%, respectively.

The capital allocation of the volatility-based systematic trading of NASDAQ 100 Index futures started the week with a 2% net short exposure. On Tuesday, the position shifted to a 3% net short exposure. On Wednesday, the position moved to a 2% net short exposure.

The capital allocation to 30-year U.S. Treasury bond futures in the Quantified Alternative Investment Fund held a 12% net long exposure throughout the week.

The QFC Self-adjusting Trend Following strategy's signal of exposure in the NASDAQ 100 Index (NDX) held a 100% net short exposure throughout the week. The Quantified STF Fund (QSTFX) lost 5.56% for the week, compared to a gain of 5.78% for the NASDAQ 100 Index (NDX) and a gain of 5.74% for the Rydex Series NASDAQ 100 Fund (RYHOX), a current potential holding of the STF strategy.

The cash allocation within the Quantified Managed Income Fund (QBDSX) was at 90.01%.

The 10-year U.S. Treasury closed the week up 4.95%. The capital allocation to 30-year U.S. Treasury bond futures in the Quantified Managed Income Fund held an 18% net long exposure throughout the week. The S&P 500 E-mini futures started the week with a 6% net short exposure. On Thursday, the position moved to a 6.50% net short exposure.

The Quantified Pattern Recognition Fund (QSPMX) started the week with a 30% net long exposure. On Tuesday, the position changed to a 30% net short exposure. On Wednesday, the position reallocated to a 0% net long exposure. On Thursday, the position switched to a 70% net long exposure. On Friday, the position switched to a 60% net long exposure.

The Quantified Tactical Fixed Income Fund (QFITX) started the week with a 55.90% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds. On Monday, the position reallocated to a 68.90% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds. On Tuesday, the position changed to a 122.20% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds. On Thursday, the position shifted to a 68.90% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds. On Friday, the position switched to a 61.10% net long exposure to Treasurys and a 0% net long exposure to high-yield bonds.

The Quantified Government Income Tactical Fund (QGITX) started the week with a 102.70% net long exposure to Treasurys. On Monday, the position changed to a 130% net long exposure to Treasurys. On Tuesday, the position reallocated to a 96.20% net long exposure to Treasurys. On Thursday, the position shifted to a 130% net long exposure to Treasurys. On Friday, the position changed to a 117% net long exposure to Treasurys.

The Quantified Evolution Plus Fund had the following allocations at the end of last week: 65% in the U.S. dollar, 12% in commodities, and 23% in cash.

The Quantified Common Ground Fund's (QCGDX) largest allocations were Amgen Incorporated (AMGN, 6.10%) and Waste Management Incorporated (WM, 6.03%). Last week, the securities were up 0.24% and 3.30%, respectively. The cash allocation was at 49.30%.

The Quantified Tactical Sectors Fund (QTSSX) had the following allocations last Friday: the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE, 25%), the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV, 25%), and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF, 25%).

The Quantified Rising Dividend Fund (QRDTX) was bearish at the end of last week.
