Job Summary

Flexible Plan Investments is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Marketing Associate to support project management, asset creation, and multi-channel go-to-market (GTM) campaigns. This role is ideal for a marketer who enjoys working on a small team, managing shifting priorities, and using analytical insights to improve performance.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to execute campaigns that engage financial advisers and support business growth. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work in Bloomfield Hills, MI, Monday–Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Campaign Management

  • Manage timelines and deliverables for GTM campaigns across email, webinars, sales enablement, and other channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery.
  • Support calendar planning and manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Content & Asset Development

  • Write and edit clear, compelling marketing copy for emails, webinar promotions, landing pages, sales materials, and presentations.
  • Assist in building marketing assets such as fact sheets, PowerPoint decks, and advisor-facing resources.

Email Marketing & Automation

  • Build, send, and optimize email campaigns using Act-On or similar marketing automation tools.
  • Conduct A/B tests, manage audience segmentation, and analyze performance to improve results.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track campaign performance using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Act-On, and web analytics tools.
  • Apply strong analytical thinking to interpret data, identify insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Help refine processes and content based on engagement trends and testing outcomes.

Cross-Channel Marketing Support

  • Assist with webinar execution, including scheduling, invitations, reminders, and follow-up messaging.
  • Support social, sales enablement, and other advisor-focused initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or financial services environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle shifting deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Act-On, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven optimization.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working on a small, collaborative team with a hands-on approach.
  • Bonus: Experience or exposure to financial services, SEC compliance, or regulated-industry marketing.
